Half Girlfriend, the movie version set to hit theaters

Half Girlfriend, one of the best selling book from Chetan Bhagat, is now coming as in the movie version. The book released back in October 2014. It was one of the best selling books from Chetan Bhagat.

The movie Half Girlfriend directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Mohit Suri and Chetan Bhagat himself.

The story reveals around a boy, Madhav, who comes from a village to Delhi for his studies. Then he met with Riya, a modern girl. Their love, relationship, break-up and reunion was the primary story line of the book Half Girlfriend.

This is 4th movie based on Chetan Bhagat books after the big success of 3 Idiots (Book : Five Point Someone), Kai Po Che (Book: 3 Mistakes of my life) and 2 States (Book: 2 states).

In the movie version, Arjun Kapoor plays the role of Madhav, the boy from village and Shradha Kapoor as Riya who plays the role of modern girl.

Release date for Half Girlfriend film is set to 19 May 2017

The trailer of Half girlfriend movie is released last week on April 9 and is already placed in the hit charts. The Half Girlfriend film is expected to hit theaters by 19 May 2017.

The film score is composed by Raju Singh who has composed for all of Mohit Suri’s previous films. The songs featured in the film are composed by Mithoon, Tanishk Bagchi, Rishi Rich, Farhan Saeed, Ami Mishra and Rahul Mishra while the lyrics have been penned by Manoj Muntashir, Kumaar, Kunaal Vermaa, Arafat Mehmood, Tanishk Bagchi, Laado Suwalka, Anushka Shahaney, R. Rekhi, Veronica Mehta, Yash Anand, Yash Narvekar and Ishita Moitra Udhwani.
