“Why there is no host for Oscars ?”

The Oscars will forgo a host for the second year in a row. Viewers are surprised to see on Oscar 2019, that there is no format host for Oscar at that year. In OSCAR 2020 again there is no official host for the show. ABC Entertainment President Karey Burke said at the Television Critics Association winter press tour. “Let me confirm it now, together with the academy, that there will be no traditional host this year,” she said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Emmy and Grammy awards in 2020 also followed same direction. But why there is no host officially set up for Oscar ? It is rumoured that the new generation awards ceremnony has better acceptance if it is handled by multiple presenters, rather than a single individual througout. If a single official host or or two hosts has not a good day it will spoil an entire event. especially grant awards like Oscar, Emmy and Grammy.

The idea of multiple presenters make the show interesting and audience also has chance to see their favourite anchors / presenters in stage for different award categories. This makes the shows more dynamic and vibrant.
