Following BS IV compliance guidelines, two wheeler dealers in India offer huge discounts for their in stock vehicles. After the apex court’s order of banning sale of BS IV non-compliant vehicles from April 1, two wheeler vehicle dealers are offering discounts up to 40 per cent to buyers till March 31.
Earlier central government and issued strict guidelines to only to sell BS IV compliance from April 1 after Supreme court disposed the review petition given by dealers against this new policy.

Dealers are trying hard to liquidate and sell all of their stocks before the March 31 deadline. Most of the showrooms reported huge rush on Thursday and huge discounts were given to the models that had less sales.
The reason for this offers is that majority of two wheeler had not shifted to Bharat Stage IV compliant. Most of the showrooms had kept the new vehicles in the hope that their petition will be granted and they will get the permission to sell the bikes.
The bikes can be registered till Friday only. The vehicle manufacturing companies have asked the dealers to sell the maximum number of vehicles in their stock.
If the Bharat Stage III vehicles are not sold by dealers by Friday, the companies will have to take them back. The hectic selling is to avoid this situation made the dealers to give the amazing offers to the customers. Dealers like Honda selling Small bike Navi for free if customers take CRV 150 or CRV 120.
