2018 BWF World Badminton Championships is going to held in Nanjing, China between 30 July and 5 Aug. BWF World Badminton Championships is a showcase of the very best in the sport and it determines who are the World Champions in each of the five disciplines, men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles and mixed doubles. Who are the top seeds for Men and women at BWF World Badminton championships 2018 in China ?
Currently the defending Champions are Viktor Axelsen in Men’s singles and Nozomi Okuhara in Women’s Singles at BWF World Badminton Championship.
In Men’s singles, currently Denmark’s Viktor Axelsen ranked number 1 in the world followed by Lee Chong Wei in the second position. One of tournament favorite India’s Kidambi Srikanth is in the 5th rank for the world championships. Based on current form best chance of winning the Men’s singles at World Badminton championships is Axlesen or Srikanth. But India’s Pranoy also has a decent run in the previous tournaments, who can be the Black horse.
In women’s singles it is more tougher competition and TAI Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei holds the number 1 ranking in the world championship. She will be having tight fight with India’s P V Sindhu who is the 3rd seed at the world championship. Olympic gold medal winner Spain’s Carolina Marin and India’s Saina Nehwal are also tournament favorites to win for Women’s singles. They are currently seeded 8 and 10 in the championship.
